Eliana Receives The Gift Of Swimming

Eliana is finishing her basic training program this week. She was born premature with no functioning kidneys. She was in medical foster care for over 3 years, and received a kidney transplant at age 2 1/2. Eliana was adopted in June 2013, very developmentally delayed. What a difference this loving family has made in the last year and a half! Her mom was so dedicated to getting her swim lessons that she took her out of preschool for a month so she could attend daily lessons. Getting her back to school might be the next challenge!
